Lincoln looks forward to a fantastic evening with The Legendary Voice of UB40, Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue at Lincoln Castle. Gates open at 6.30pm. Support on stage at 7.15pm, UB40 on stage at 8.30pm

When to arrive
All visitors can enter from the east gate of the Castle, (on Castle Hill,) opposite the Cathedral from 6.30pm.

Collecting pre-paid tickets
If you’ve booked but not collected your tickets then you’ll be able to collect them at the gate. Please bring any confirmation emails or order details with you, along with some form of ID.

Where do we sit?
Anywhere that’s available really. It’s an open air concert and you’re invited to bring your own seating so it could be anything from a rug to a deck chair. But please be considerate to your fellow audience members and don’t bring anything too tall (like a gazebo) that people behind you will have problems seeing over.

Can I bring my own refreshments?
Yes absolutely. You’re invited to bring picnics and refreshments but please note that only alcohol purchased on-site will be permitted, and please ensure any soft drinks are in plastic bottles.

What if it rains?
This being England, the weather may be showery but please don’t bring large golf umbrellas. Waterproof clothing is advisable and if you want to bring smaller umbrellas that’s fine of course, but please be mindful of other audience members – for viewing purposes, stewards may ask those who use brollies to move to the back of the audience and only those without brollies to the front. The concert will go ahead whatever the weather.

Can I buy more tickets on the night?
If there any tickets available they’ll be sold at the gate from 6.30pm, however the gate’s likely to be very busy so to avoid disappointment it’s advisable to pre-book on our website or contact our box office on 01522 873894. On The Gate Price: £45

Where do I collect my tickets?
If you’ve booked through us at the Drill Hall then you can collect your tickets up until 11.30am on Saturday 9th July – thereafter your tickets will be available to collect from the gate at the Castle from 6.30pm on the night. We will not post any bookings made after Monday 4 July. If you’ve booked after this date please collect your tickets from Lincoln Drill Hall box office or at the castle on the night.
